As for the Rock Star, here's what the rumor mill has generated: His foreskin has grown back and got caught in his zipper, so he's contemplating either another circumcision, or reconstructive surgery. His agent is accepting Get Well cards on his behalf, and also pursuing a sponsorship by Trojan in case he needs a little waterproof protection for the bandages. Also, if he books a movie he's up for, he'll be having his stunt double surf on his behalf. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, look for the upcoming Public Service Announcement about the dangers of "free-balling".

Whooa - next time I'll know not to ask.

Seriously folks - the time is now to get your entry in as we need to make decisions this week on how many judges, lifeguards and other staff to hire based on how big the event will be. We're also deciding important stuff like where to hold the evening gathering - again based on quality of the beer and how big a venue we need (EQ's head alone would require it's own private room).

Aside from my semi-rude call out above, I'd like to graciously invite our overseas guests to consider a last-minute dash to SoCal. We've had a great time in the past with our friends from PR, the UK and Oz who have been regulars at the KSUSA Titles.

Hope you all can make it! Now's the time to decide!

.. but my arm is not.

After stalling in Barrel 2,345,678 at Thunders, I heard (and felt) a "snap".

Got to the boat, and my left arm didn't look right.
Ruptured my bicep tendon... 50% of my bicep snapped off, and the sleeve of the tendon which covers the bicep is balled up in my elbow like a walnut.
Of course, I just duc-taped it and kept surfing... then I hit the reef Ulu's and reeaaaallly messed it up.

I was going to have surgery, but I needed Sprocky's "Viking Locks" to sew it up with... unfortunately, his wife made him cut his hair (pu$$y), so now I just have to rehab it.

Might try to see the Doctor the Day before the "CornTest" and get a greenlight... otherwise, if I'm in town, you ALL will all be treated to another 48hrs of "EQ'S STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS" on the Announcer Mic.

he boggs off the top. Wow. That guy sucks. Anyway... out the back in yellow is The CREEEEEDDDDIIILER!!! HE comes off the bottom and... and... and...

Hey Jack - I thought we picked the venue - me and Greg and Brad gave a place a looksee and gave it the thumbs up!

One thing is certain- Oceanside ain't Santa Cruz. Talk about your mixed-bag of clientele!

Pam (my wife) and I will be staying at the lovely (right off the freeway exit) Guesthouse Inn. Only $55/night w/ AAA discount, which is the same division I'll end up in if I'm lucky...
