Maybe my math is off but on the poll 49 say they plan to enter but only 45 look to be signed up at this point. The end of the month's coming so get your entries in!
I heard there's going to be sweatshirts, t-shirts, and beanies
Should be good news on the surf forecast. Since the near future is bleak in the way of meaninful surf, come January maybe the NPAC will wake up and start sending some nice groundswells
Looking forward to seeing everyone.

team event
SC Competitors: start thinking about the team event too. This has been a highlight of our last couple comps. In O-side it was N. Cal vs. OC, SD and Cent. Cal. I think we also had a "World Team." If Gavin shows, I'm betting the World Team might be a favorite. Rumor has it the OC guys are running training sessions at Kneelo Cove: with weights on their ankles to simulate the dreaded Santa Cruz seaweed!

gathering
Hi Willy,
We're at Ideal (the bar/restaurant by the pier) this year. We're also working on a possible poolside bbq/party for Wednesday night...stay tuned.
We need any stragglers to get their entries in ASAP (deadline tomorrow). If you're on the fence - send it in. Even if you can't make it, KSUSA needs your support!

My two cents: definitely enter!! For sure this will be the best U.S. Championships I've seen in our 4 years of the event. With the return of the current world champ, as well as the best collection of U.S. kneelos in one contest ever, it will be great surfing. And the evening get togethers will be that much better.
And it all starts next week...I can't wait!

I'm not influenced by the past; I change it!
