IMPORTANT NOTICE: Potential Contest Schedule Change
Due to current surf forecasts, the contest committee is seriously considering a change in the contest schedule. Surf forecast are calling for minimal surf on Friday with a significant long period swell filling in on Saturday and peaking on Sunday. Therefore, the contest may be rescheduled for Saturday/Sunday to provide competitors with the best possible surf conditions. A final decision will be announced Tuesday evening.
We understand that this change may negatively impact some competitors' travel and work schedule, so the decision is not taken lightly. Our goal is to provide the best possible contest experience, and that is only possible if there is contestable surf.
If you have any questions or concerns, post them here or contact contestinfo@ksusa.org.
