I am not sure if the Kneeboard Surf International are the samebut here in Oz we have ...
Opens ... everyone
Cadets ... under 16
Juniors ... under 21
Pro Juniors ... under 28
Seniors ... over 28
Masters ... over 35
Senior Mens ... over 40
Grand Masters (ROBs) ... over 45
Veterans ... over 50
Woman ... any who want to

Now as a lot of us are becoming over 50 ... we are thinking of starting to separate the veterans ....
those with hair
those without
with own teeth
with false teeth
living in retirement village
still at home
with walking frame
without walking frame
Though a voting process will have to take place for these changes to come into effect ... we have to start thinking of the future
As it wont be long before we are all Veterans ... lol

hey xmas and ross i think you might have rained on the organising committe's parade -I heard a whisper, they might be going public on this site with the new dates this week.
So the aussies might have the jump on most of the opposition, rather than the other way around.

These things take time to coordinate let me tell you!

I figured the Aussies would have enough blokes coming over to charter their own flight. Word has it Stapo's going to fly the plane!

If it was anything like my flight to Bali from Sydney, look out!

Yes - Greg is hoping to recapture his title as US Champion in the "Beer Keg Racing" competition - previously earned during the '99 WTs in New Zealand.

Seriously, we've been working towards this really since our first Santa Cruz event in 2003. It's going to be great - hope everyone can join us! I'd also encourage as many who can to include a side trip to SoCal which actually does rock during January.

Greg, you only won because I snagged my slipper and tore the tip of my big toe off going into turn 2 or was it 4 or maybe turn 6. No 6 was the #'s of beers I had before the race. You won but it was under protest, therefore, your result will forever be marred with an *.

We will have to come up with some kind of potentially harmfull fun if we are to match the good times provided by the Kiwi's in '99. They set the bench mark as to how to run an event.

Yea I remember the bloody toe, and the pictures. I also remember we had more than 6 beers. I just don't remember winning the race. As for the *, lets leave that to all the roid users in MLB.
