Sad to report that I have to work that weekend and 4 possible switches with co-workers has not worked out. A day trip to Ventura sounds like a bunch of fun
If you're on the fence just go for it and sign up. It'd be worth it just to hear Sprocky's Bali stories.
Jeff, stoked that you're in-I would've been stoked to surf with you!

Sprocky,
This sign-up, while through Active.com, is a little different so I'm not sure if we have the ability to see who else is entered online. I'll try to get a list of names from the organizer (not KSUSA) this week and post.
Salt Creeks is still a possibility but I need to follow up - I think that event is typically after the start of the year.

We have to had competed in two comps out of three this year, (here in Australia), to be able to compete.....busy lifestyle, business committements, and family have kept me away from comps for a couple of years....except for the odd dash to take some pics under scheduled timeRT wrote:Brad, thanks for the encouragement. Of course, your right.
I'd bet any kneelo in NZ wanting to compete at the Worlds wouldn't likely get turned away anyway, unless they get overwhelmed with entries...not likely.
...I wont be able to compete at all in NZ.....kinda bums me big time....last time I was there for the worlds I did quite well. making two finals and meeting a great crew of guys from the states.....I wont be spending money on a ticket hoping i would get let in, escpecially after being told the rules
.....I guess what I am saying, is I wont be going f I cant compete.....and here in oz....they make rules for a reason..
...supporting kneeboarding!!
...I am sure I do that
...competed
...I have not had the time
bummed

Just wondering if anybody knows the schedule for the kneeboard event. Not sure if I should come up Friday night or just slide up early Sat am....is this an all day event for the kneelos or 4-5 heats and out with the results??? Trying to plan it with my brood or just leave em home, any help would be great!!! KEL

update
The format for Saturday is 6-man heats, single elimination.
I asked when Kneeboarders should be there and was told "7 a.m." with no further explanation. Hopefully that means you guys are first out and will get clean surf - but we'll see.

Tomorrow, Sept 10th, is the on-line registrationdeadline.
Who is going? Any car pools being organized?
Joel Mayer could use a ride if you've got room. Joel would like to shoot the event but needs to arrange transportation.

Last Chance! Just a few hours left until the on-line registration deadline.
Looks like the OC Kneelo Cove gang is taking over. Where's the San Diego and Nor Cal competition? Its not too late. Sign up now.
