I rode for SeaSki back in the mid 70's. Ron Ligenfelter was my shaper and we used to copy/modify Cleary and Fred Peterson's designs. Double wing swallow single fins were a design standard. I took my first trip to the North Shore in the winter of '75 with a SeaSki 5'8" double wing swallow single fin and a my "gun", a SeaSki 5'11" pin tail single fin kneeboard. Ah the memories......

Sea Ski
Tryin to remember where the Sea Ski shop or "factory" was. Didn't Romo shape/ride for them for a while ?
Kneeboarding since 1976; always searching for the ultimate sled, always in awe and grateful for the work of master craftsmen, Romanosky, Frye, Cleary, Mc Cray, Timpone, Ballestar, Minami, Hart.
Fossil, the SeaSki shop was on 5th street originally opened by Steve Walden then taken over by Ron Lingenfelter, they were the main shapers. I believe John Denney did some shaping there as well. The boards were glassed at Bill Stembridge's factory in Long Beach. Ron is now general manager of the Waterman's guild. Steve Walden has a shop in Ventura.

Scott,
Yes, we're prepared to run two areas if necessary on Friday. The change in schedule is aimed at allowing us to run the open semis and final during (hopefully) glassy conditions Saturday morning.
