ok the world titles are coming up quick. (less than a month from the date of this post). post your predictions for the winners???
Cadet - under 16
Junior - over 16 under 18
Pro Junior - over 18 under 28
Senior - over 28 under 35
Masters - over 35 under 45
Grand Masters - over 45 under 55
ROB's - over 55

Senior - ?? what? no one to rep team USA?
Masters - Baden Smith beats out Barry Baker in the Finals
Grand Masters - Mike Fernandez (HB Local that lives elsewhere heh heh)
ROB's - Robert Parata (Eirin Go Bragh!)
Women - Darcy Murphine (of course!)

damn....i did pretty good. the order is just a little messed up.

you missed it by 30 seconds perhaps. If baden had gotten that final wave and ripped it then your order likely would have called it.

i guess even a freak contest machine like Baden can make an error.

the heat sheets say MF surfed one heat and disapeared. he should have been in a repacharge heat yes?

That bet might have changed if you saw what Gigs was doing on Scott Wessling's poor board...

Yes, you can only wonder how strong Gigs would have been surfing if on his own equipment.
I appreciated his excellent attitude for having all his boards and wetsuits lost in Paris somewhere the entire contest.

no doubt he would have been a serious threat. i based my prediction on people who were registered at the time.
