The apples are being picked and the grapes are being harvested here in Santa Cruz County. We're just about ready for all you jokers!

I watched the first heats of the Codl Water Classic this morning - 2 to 4 foot with a bump on the way to a 5.1 high tide. They are calling for an increasing swell for the semis and finals.

The weather is looking to be a recording setting hot spell for the weekend. We'll try and divert all that solar energy into the water temp to keep it toasty for all the KBers in November.

Ed's Training Program.

1)Saturday- Drink 30 beers at the CAL-UCLA game (started tailgating at 8am, got home at 2am),
2)Sunday-Dawnbomb Oxnard on for hours of deep, mean, pits.
3)Monday-Go to Ventura Fairgrounds and do 782 roundhouse cutbacks to prepare for the Pleasure Point 1st Peak marshmallow.
4)Tuesday- Jam my dislocated knee trying to do a reverse360 tailslide in the El Porto shorebreak.
5)Tuesday night- Hobble to Sharkeez for SEVERAL 2 for 1 Margaritas. When this smoking hot waitress asks me why I'm limping, without blinking I say, "I'm a Pro Kneeboarder.........can I have your phone #?"
She gives me the digits AND a Cadillac Margarita on the house!
Sorry guys.....but I think I'm gonna win this thing.

Game On,
EQ

Don't worry Poidog, we'll find plenty of trouble in Santa Cruz when we go down in our first heats.

EQ - If you're staying at The Ventian in Capitola, then right across Soquel Creek from the hotel(about a fins throw away) is Margaritaville.

Take your pick: you can stumble or swim your way back to your room.
