World Title Winners

Post by walt davidson »

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to GAVIN, BARRY, MATT, & BADEN !

Out of the top four I've only seen Barry surf - I know he must
be in good company 8)

Well done! Glad the surf picked up for the finals.
Sounds like an excellent job from all that organized
the contest.

Sad to miss out on meeting so many surfers from around
the globe

Regards, Walt

I've got to say congrats to my brother Patrick for his equal 5th in the Master's division. It's probably been 15 years since he's competed!

Good job to all contestants for making me hate moving to NYC.

I'm ALWAYS up for hosting individuals on couch tours. As for a multiple person gathering... I think I need to get the lay of the land a bit better out here. I've only been here since July and have been in the water once, and that was New Year's day for the polar bear swim. Definitely not against the idea though...

Hey D.R -

I'll second the congrats to Patrick. I've surfed with him at a few of his local haunts over the years and he is a ripper. I can't wait to hear his stories/perspective when I see him next. I hope there's some photos or video of some of his waves.
