2007 KSUSA Titles - Oceanside Harbor - Nov. 30 and Dec. 1
Save these dates everyone: the 2007 KSUSA Titles will be held Friday Nov. 30 and Saturday Dec. 1 at Oceanside Harbor - likely the North Jetty. This will be the 4th KSUSA Titles - with the previous three being held in Santa Cruz. The Harbor is a great venue that picks up swell from nearly any direction - should be a really fun event.
Registration information will be posted here soon. Similar to previous events there will be an open division with folks moving into AA and AAA as they are eliminated - so you're assured of surfing at least few heats. Women and Juniors divisions will also be offered.
More information to be available soon - but plan on nightly gatherings and lots of associated fun. Please contact Tom, Jack, Mark, Darcy, Greg, Brad, Don or me if you would like to sponsor the event.

Yayyy! Thanks to all you for coming through.
I'm up for helping out with more than the just the entry fee, if I can. Unfortunately can't contribute much more than time, but from past experience you'll need plenty of that getting "prizes" through Customs at LAX.

Why do Moroccan tree climbing goats make great pets?
a. They'll mow, and fertilize, your lawn.
b. They can climb trees!
c. Goat's milk, cheese, yogurt, etc is pretty tasty
d. The goats themselves are pretty tasty.

juniors
Matt,
Yes, there will be a juniors division and I'm sure we'll get a good turnout. It looks like the guys will be back from PI by then no problem. Hopefully Shaun and some of the other SD and OC guys will be entering. My guess is we'll run those heats on Saturday only so we don't have issues with school.

Oside Contest
I haven't surfed in a contest in 15 years and I'm wondering what the judges will be looking for from the contestants in this contest.
Any advice from those of you have surfed in contests over the past few years?
I guess an easy answer would be to surf like Simon, Gavin, Barry, and Jack. But I'm looking for some specifics that I think will help the rest of us amateur amateurs.
Any judges out there want to comment I think it would be appreciated by all.
Thanks and stay casual.
