Scott,
Looks like you are the official host of the Big Sur Gathering. Please remember to post info on the KSUSA calendar and to contact Don Harris so he can put a banner on the home page....................Tom

scott, thanks for planning this one, I'm looking forward to this gathering, I've never surfed up there before. My kids and I will be there, this time with a new tent, after the winds at jalama the tent will never be the same!

Nora and I will definately be there and we will find another North Coast treat to bring. Tom the beaches and mountains are filled with wonder and treasures that are waiting to be discovered by young minds, your clan will love this site. We will have to show you around. I don't want to see any more wipe out trophies though. Let's just enjoy and share.
Way to pick up the ball on this one Scott.

FYI-
The " Swaylock's Surfboard Design Forum' website group, est. to be at least 8o people, will do a repeat of the campout held at Plaskett's last year. They're scheduled for the weekend from Sept 17- 19.
This is a diverse group of builder and riders building and riding everything from hollow wood surfboards to matts and paipos.
We've got folks from as far away a Kauai (Ambrose Curry) and Washington (Paul J and Gary) showing up.
Drop by if you're in the area.

Plaskett is a great destination! Sand Dollar is a definite experience... beautiful, cold, clear (REALLY clear) water nestled between rocky peninsulas. Waves breaking waaay out... kinda like surfing down a big alley.
Thanks for setting this up, Scott!

Sounds like you are planning for an evening of.... Twister...fun.fun.fun...
Looking forward to spending time with all the kneelos at such a fabulous location. I think the extended gatherings are a great way to really get to know one another. It will be great to be camping with you all again.. 8)

Yeah I don't mind a little smoke in my eyes, just no more trophies for it. Hey speaking of Gorda Troy Tolefson lives there and he is one of the old knee boarders from Sewer Peak. We need to get a hold of him and I don't know how. Anybody going through Gorda leave a message in town and tell Troy pie to get over to Plasket.
