Our club comp is going to be held at dimmicks beach Blairgowrie..
take Melbourne rd turn left on to tiber and then the first left off tiber drive andpark at the end

Our final club contest for the yr was ran on the 18th of Oct the results have been withheld untill our presentation night...
An excellent day was had by all. Waves 3 to 5 ft for the event or triple overhead for me

Presentation night will be held in sorrento on Nov the 6th

Please pm me if you are attending as I need to get the number of people attending for booking the venue...I need this info NOW

also we will be sending an email out to members with venue address and time. Also Tim ,Pom and I are inviting you to set up tents at our property's so you can enjoy the evening till late with out having worries about accommodation or getting home

once again I need numbers please pm me now.....

We held our presentation night at the 3 palms Tavern beer garden Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula Friday night 6th Nov...With all club members having a lot of fun in a relaxed atmosphere...I wont ad too much hear as Red will be writing about the night in the next newsletter.

Not a total loss small clean waves at magics 8.0pm friday and 5.0am saturday. Then the hot drive home.

Just completed Round 2 of the Vic State Titles. 32 surfers competed in round 2 after 25 competed in round 1 , and the standard was very high. The 4 finalists from round 1 did not make this final so things are very even. Round 1 winners were 1st Mike Disciascio 2nd Pommy Anderson 3rd Red Ceglowski and 4th Stan Kofoed. The B Grade was won by Gary Finger.
Round 2 was very even with the winner being Tim Kadwell 2nd Dean Bould 3rd Pete Fairweather and 4th Paul Mannix. B Grade winner was Tony Jewell.
A great day , good weather, some waves and a BBQ back at pommy's.
Things are very close for the state title. See you at the next comp later in the year.

That was a ripper of a contest on Sunday. Surfing went red hot in the 3' offshore rights at Rye. On my scorecard the first 3 open were impossible to split. Stan, Mick and Tim all ripped and pmmie was no slouch either. So what was the result?
