Salt Creek event
Trying to get down there to video the contest. Will Kneelos get the morning or afternoon sessions. In the old days kneez got the afternoon mush. Maybe Salt Creek doesn't get blown out by prevailing winds. Pardon my ignorance about the spot and the possibly real stupid question. Glad the WSA put us in there. Who made it happen?

badknees
Badknees,
At this point, the schedule is TBD - all I know is that the final will be held at the end of the day (I presume with the other finals). WSA says they will post a schedule online a day or two before so stay tuned.
KSUSA has been working with WSA on our titles events for years and most agree they've done a solid job. Given this relationship, getting a Kneelo division was a pretty simple thing (we did this with WSA+ in Ventura last fall). I like the idea of doing this selectively when there's a good kneeboard venue - like Salt Creek. Another good WSA+ venue we'll be looking at is DMJs (and they're trying to get a contest at Blacks too).
Stay tuned.

Still plenty of space frog we're at 11 entries. I'm sure there will be a flurry just before the April 1 deadline - so don't wait!
Jack
PS: I'll try to keep the list above updated.

So I am on the WSA WEBSITE trying to enter, but there is no box for the Kneeboard divison. Can anyone help me out with this?
M.C.,
They have a separate registration page for KSUSA. You need to go to the link for the kneeboard division that Jack posted above.

And remember to support Team USA by buying a killer KSUAS/TEAM USA
tee shirt.
I wore mine on Friday when Nell Newman handing over a $10K check to the Santa Cruz Surfing Club Preservation Society. People wanted to know where they could get a TEAM USA shirt.
And this was from longboarders!

This is more than just a contest. It's a day at the beach gathering. Bring the family, bring some food and drinks, bring some shade.
Weather forecast is beautiful sunny skys and temps in the 70's with light winds. Looks like there will be some contestable surf, from the early forecast.

Swell Forecast for Sat
Here's Wetsand's forecast:
Saturday the 4th is looking like a rather wind-swellish day. Most models point to Saturday being the heaviest day for wind swell, at least for the AM. Head high+ surf is quite likely at the west facing breaks able to work a 310 angle. This wind swell though is likely to back off in the afternoon.
