2009 Club Challenge
The 4th annual edition is on this Saturday 5 September at Dixon Park Beach, Newcastle - 11am.
The last 3 events have had sun and waves... and this years look like its going to luck out as well.
So if you are in the area stop by and have a look. I suspect (assume?) there will be at least 2 of this year's World Title finalists in action plus a host of other East Coast rippers.
... oh yeah... go SKC

Ha? Me, mysteriously quite?
But seriuosly, it should be a grande day tommorrow, and I'm looking forward to watching the surfing!
Ahh I'll just have a look at the swell... be a sec...
Back
Now there's a beautiful fullish moon and a small peaky swell coming out of the north, very peaky in fact. Probably a small underlying swell from the east as well.
The wind is making its mind up not to blow, very quite it is.
Perhaps waves like this will favour the naturals. Newcastle beaches face slightly south.
PS I heard Xmas is getting name badges for the Sydney team members this year so they all recognise each other.
Just kidding Grant. From what I hear you do a great job on your end.... I mean "at" your end.
Good luck all, see you tommorrow. Should be well worth it, some of the best kneelo surfers (sung and unsung) in the world are members of these three clubs...
cheezels
BTW Damo has been ripping.
