Thanks for softening the blow (somewhat) Mr Headwax.
Can't believe it went to a countback and we came 2nd for the 4th straight year
... and I creased my new board to boot
Had better days...
Well done to the WAKAs and thanks to Mel and all the NOVO crew - great comp and great to see some old faces.
Next year we are on home turf or is that surf. Carn SKC - played hard done good

Good onya guys, really great to see all the familiar faces - sorry to hear about the board, Grant, I didn't know about that. Good to see you there Headwax and you'll never guess it, I friggin drew DYdamo & (newcastle) Damo in my heat (you sure there isn't a KSUSA influence in the heat draws ).
The Novo's did a top job of hosting this years event (good snags & cold drinks too) a great day weather wise (the surf being the usual for these comps).
Hey Waka, the engine did harden the fark up, that was the problem, anyway much organising and luck saw us arrive with 5 mins to spare in a hire car. I'm gonna be farkin hard up now both monetarily and maritally, I've got some fancy footwork ahead of me
To my fellow Waka's, what a great and unexpected victory,
HARDEN THE FARK UP WAKA'S THE WAKA'S HAVE HARDENED UP
