Hey Tom Howzit,
I checked out the contest earlier today and saw Simpson get some good ones. I think that most of the Santa Cruz guys are out of the contest already. So, go Simpson

The whole bay is pretty chunky with wind, so I hope it calms down for the weekend.

Soccer playoffs tomorrow, and I'm coach for one of the kid's teams.

Sunday may lead to a surf or so.

I watched a couple of those guys, Tom. Couldn't help but compare and contrast with our past events!

I watched Simpson's heat. He had the high score, but just couldn't find the back-up.

He was surfing really, really well. Just one more wave.

I liked watching Alejo Muniz beating Adriano De Souza. Killer surfing

Also have enjoyed listening to PT and Sean Thompson going back through memory lane

I was over at the Lane yesterday around noon watching the action.

The Lane was huge, probably biggest surf for a CW to date.

Tons of spectators. I was pinned up against the rail on the upper point by
six major hotties. A little blonde on my right and a tall brunnette who was
just danger on my left. Her two girlfriends pressed up against my back,
straining for a view over my shoulders....
