Hey Mark, Kevy tuned in a small wave at Coledale - don't know what it'll be like when you arrive (stop dawdling) Hopefully there'll be something around for you guys to wash the cobwebs away, might even see this arvo, I'm going up that way to pick up a small wave board. If you read this before then PM your mobile & I'll call in.

Cheers Wolruss

Russell do you ever do any work?
It's about 3 degrees here and water is nearly as cold- although haven't had a surf in a few weeks....I wish I could be there this weekend to hang out with the crew and get some waves...and of course hit the coopers. Have a few for me.....waves and beers. Tell the gang I send my regards. Hope you get some good waves.

Hey Kiya, I'm a multi-talented multi-tasker   , I'll have you know I work very hard to appear relaxed & unstressed, you've just wrinkled the very fabric of my perceived persona   Oh well, it sounded good inside the old melon anyway. You know the nature of the work I do, so in between calls etc I check the site to make sure nobody is slandering that very fabric of which I speak :? .
Besides I'm a very fast one fingered typist.
Very warm here for this time of year - the westerly winds only just now blasting down the escarpment. Will remember you to the WAKA's & will have a wave & a few coopers for you.
Glenys says you better be behaving yourself

He's an awesome surfer, lucky I didn't draw him in the opens.....yeah, lucked out.......I drew Chayne"bloody whack the lip stupid"Simpson  Unfortunately we're stuck with Thirroul this year, looking to get a roving comp. set for next year though, so's we can utilize some of the Gongs' hidden gems - not that there is any surf here   .
We look like we might get something contestable and hopefully between Satcho, Johnny Cullen & Steen, we'll get something worthwhile on film. :D :D Probably not me though, unless the get me rolling around on the beach trying to put my flippers on and sub titling it "GREENPEACE RESCUE". Plenty of hot surfers to perform so we should hear the shutters from out in the water.

wow
the silence since the event has been deafening(sic)

Why?

Did no one care?
Was the winner not deserving?
Did he do something terrible?

The waves sucked so i heard and see in the pics section, they have historically sucked at kneelo contest sites in the area.

Back to Bendalong Please!

Congratulations Matt!

Jamie, the weekend was a resounding success with the new judging system being the envy of all. Despite the surf conditions (which were probably the same in Bendalong) all surfers adapted well some better than others. The top surfers were again drawing everyones attention with they're high performance surfing - standouts for me were Mark McLeod, Matt Gallagher...as usual Albert......Keg was getting some insane barrels before the contest. Just a short wrap up as I'm incredibly busy this week....the full report will be on the Official KSA site when Rob gets back from WA. (hope that put a positive spin back on it)

Cheers Wolruss
