So, the upshot is if you can't make it into 2 comp's this year forget it and go the pie and coffee instead! Spose it's cheaper and filling, but not as fulfilling.

Make that skim, and pies will make you feel better about missing the comp, or blowing your heat. Speaking from past experience of course.

Hey Mike, how did you hear how I went in my age group? :( - such an ordinary performance on my behalf, Oh well, at least I got a PB in the opens :D (trying to find a positive here) & skim that is....one sugar or two & no I wasn't calling you sugar so don't get any idea's
A.B..... hold the water on those mud pies   ....could be an anouncement from the powers that be, soon, hopefully.......I'd better not make any comments 'cause I really don't know what the anouncement will be just that there is something in the pipeline surrounding the issue of qualification, keep checking the official KSA site for details...as soon as it is posted up there, I'll get the OK to post here.

Hey A.B., Got Shallows at 3 to 4 ft yesterday but couldn't surf to save my life (such an easy wave to surf too.) oh well you get those days, it has definitely picked back up this morning looked to be 5 to 6ft on the driveby to work this morning, couldn't tell the swell direction as I didn't really get time to study it.

Ab,
we might be able to make another showing in the Ma & Pa and hence qualify. Mind you I was so travelled out by the time I got there this year my showing was woeful but it would still stand as a qualifying comp, as far as I'm aware. Making next years for me might be a challenge as well as It's always timed around my migratory passage :D back from the island off the island at the bottom of tassie. Still that cold water is really good training for PI.
My memory of the water temp at PI is that it was the coldest I'd encountered prior to the tassie adventures.

Riq, qualifying events for PI are from this year, and i thought the Pa Ma wasn't included, i could be wrong, perhaps the wolruss could enlighten us, or has this already been discussed?... Just checked back on page 1 where russ says 2010 Pa & MA is a qualifier so Riq we just need Coffs to happen hopefully early in September for me as i'm heading OS on the 22nd.

As for Mike, well thats a long drive boyo, and 15' in that freezing water I hope you've got a jet ski and a heated wetty. Show us the pic's and your gas receipts

Oh and Albert, thats a lame horse you keep flogging son but if it makes you happy...... whiip that biitch
