Brad and everybody else thanks for throwing this event. It was the right call not to cancel. There was some great surfing and a good simulation of possible contest conditions. The kids were tearing it up and giving the elders a run for their money.

Sorry for holding out with the scrimmage results. A big thanks to Brad for rallying the crew with a pre-dawn meeting. Brad let everyone know he'd come all the way from San Diego and was going out anyway. This prompted enough of the crew to put down their donuts and suit up. We ran 4 heat (thanks to Casey, Curtis and Tom for judging)

Here are the results based on top 2 waves scored for each surfer:
Heat #1
1. Brad Colwell
2. Evan Odom
3. Shayne Dimick
4. Craig Russell

Heat #2
1. Randy Stockstill
2. Tom Backer
3. Joe Taylor
4. Greg Swivel
5. Fred Rodriguez

Heat #3
1. Brad Colwell
2. Shayne Dimick
3. Evan Odom
4. Craig Russell
5. Greg Swivel

Heat #4
1. Joe Taylor
2. Randy Stockstill
3. Joe Coyne
4. Ed Dimick
5. Greg Swivel

Brad gets top honors this time around. The groms, Evan and Shayne, more than held their own. Evan had the biggest hit of the day. Shayne pulled off some nice cutbacks in the tough conditions. These guys are for real!

Thanks to everyone who showed up and braved the crappy conditions! It's always a good time when the Kneelo Crew gets together. Bummer we didn't have Sunday's clean conditions-the Cove was on fire! I hope you all got great waves at your home break. Let's have another scrimmage soon.

Looks awfully like a Waka's pointscore to me, well done guys surfing difficult conditions like that shows a lot of commitment, God I love this sport, particulary impressed with the young fella's Evan & Shane is it. Hope some of you guys are coming over in March next year be good to hook up and have a surf & a laugh (not necessarily in that order).

Cheers Wolruss
