Amanda Taylor's 2011 US Titles Contest Shots

Post by Joe Taylor »

My wife has finished sorting, editing, and organizing her favorite photos from the contest a few weeks ago. Hope you guys like them... please let her know. She worked really hard on them. There's a ton of shots, and she might not have caught a picture of everybody, she really tried, this was her first contest shoot... she was busy with a lot of other duties also.

Thanks, Joe

Any shots of you in there Wanderer ?? 8) 8) Great effort Amanda, I know from my situation that it's an enormous boost to have the "better half" involved in your preferred past time (even better to have someone who can record the effort on film and post them). 8) 8)

Cheers Wolruss

P.S. My "better half" will be with me at the World's to keep an eye on you as she knows I only drink my fair share of Rum :D

I love your shots out of the surf itself (guys on the beach, or coming out of their heats, etc.)--nice job of capturing some of the camaraderie.

Also very nice colors and clarity on the shots! Thanks for all your hard work, Amanda.

Well guys, I did go out during superbowl (no love loss there), at Blackies with Joe and Randy, about waist high. Had some fun. Didn't realize how much harder kneeboarding is than longboarding... I'm used to two paddles than standing up.

Thanks for the compliments on the photos. Keep your eyes peeled... there's more to come.

Wow Amanda, You were in the right place at the right time with the right shot. Great lighting and sequences. Nice lens. I like being able to see the wave and the hit, not to close not to far. Juuust right. Thanks
