Our friends from Spain, Kneeboard Cantabria Club, have sent the following invitation to join them for the Cantabria Kneeboard Festival in October. Here's a chance to surf the north coast of Spain and share the stoke with the Kneeboard Cantabria Club.
"In the name of Kneeboard Cantabria Club and under the protection of Cantabrian Surfing Federation, we would like to invite your Kneeboard Surfing's selection to take part in the V Festival Kneeboard Cantabria, amateur competition which will be celebrating in Somo beach, Cantabria (SPAIN) from 5th to 7th October 2012."

V FESTIVAL CANTABRIA Kneeboard PROGRAM
5, 6 and 7 October 2012:
Friday 5:
-19.00h, Welcome Reception and registered participants. Explanation of the program and development of the championship, the New Surf Center.
-20.00, Parade of Flags + flag ceremony.
-21.00, Agape for participating in the Surf Centre.
Saturday 6:
-8.30h, checking registration, checking, delivery commemorative shirt + gift bag and draws a number to develop during the event.
-9.00 - 13.30h competition sleeves (the sleeves of participants will be made after checking).
-13.30-14.30h Lunch "in situ" (snack + drink) by Club Kneeboard Cantabria. Exhibition Long-skate at the skatepark
-15.00-18.00h-new racing sleeves.
-20.30h Dinner in “Rompeolas” restaurant.
-23:30 p.m. - until you drop. TORO LOCO energy drink Party in "La Mar Salada", gifts, giveaways, special trophies and raffles clothing and equipment donated by sponsors, partners of the Festival. During the Festival will screen several videos and photographs of kneeboarding and raffle a Surfcamp among attendees that prove Toro Loco.
Sunday 7:
-9.30 - 13.30h Sleeves Display + spresion session. Opens the ballot box.
-11.30 - 13.00 Course of Functional Pilates, by Pilates Camargo Center.
-13.30-14.30h Lunch "in situ" by by Club Kneeboard Cantabria.
-14.30-16.30h new exhibition sleeves. After which the voting period ends
-17.30h. "La Mar Salada-Bar" or Surf Centre (depending on the Meteorology), trophy of V Festival Kneeboard Cantabria and I Cantabria Kneeboard Circuit. Also the best wave, best maneuver, "wipeout" and kneelo greener.
Note: from 13.00 to 15.30 on Saturday there will be a day of learning and dissemination of kneeboarding. Aimed at younger and all people who want to come and try the kneeboarding. Materials will be provided (will be necessary neoprene and fins) and experienced competitors. Likewise at all times, that is, throughout the event to answer questions young people, will discuss how sport amateur and professional.
Likewise, all day Saturday, for registered participants, will be held lessons for beginners to SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard), by Deep Surf Skate Shops, and relaxing massages on the beach by Aesthetic Center Silvia.
Finally be raffled among all participants registered two brand new kneeboard "SneilBoard"
With this draw, and after a long list of greetings and acknowledgments shall expire and the V FESTIVAL KNEBOARD CANTABRIA.
For the ratings should take into account what you see everyone, not only achieved record what the video camera, which is then projected onto the "La Mar Salada-Bar"
The schedule for the sleeves and free bathrooms may vary depending on the prevailing conditions (weather, tides).
Both days there shall be a zone of "market" of material used, kneeboards, wetsuits, fins, etc..
Remember collaborate as much as possible with the organization that will be present throughout the event with their cameras and video.
They appreciate the temporarily bring a suit and old table or not for open day
Special trophies will be determined and awarded by the Board of the Club Kneeboard Cantabria.
The gifts do not support drawn exchange or return either by the organization or by the sponsors - collaborators. It requires the cooperation of the participants to fill in your personal data and the evaluation survey and for the feedback. Participation is also required for feedback "constructive" for future editions.
