A bargain at only $40 to enter the contest, I see...
I'm not influenced by the past; I change it!

Scott,

It is a steep entry fee, but we all have spent more for a round at a greasy spoon....I was merely hoping to get some attention to the fact that knee boarding is truly a dying breed in some areas especially our area. There are only a few of those that were around in the 70's and it would be great to spark some interest in the younger generation in the hope that they might pick up on it and carry it forward. Basically keepin the stoke that we all share alive and well.....

Peace

Jeff

Hey Jeff,

I'm going to enter. My schedule for October just came out and I'm off that weekend. That makes 3 and I'm sure we'll be able to get 3 more.

That's not steep. That's cheap.

NSSA DANA POINT is the 20th. Could be a big Kneelo Weekend.

Thanks Curtis!!!!

As you know from the email that I forwarded you from Wildcoast, they said that there will be a link on the registration page for the Dempsey an "Open Kneeboard Division".....I'm hoping that we can get a good turnout...so few of us left in this area and would be cool have a bunch of kneelos in the water.......

This is the email I got from Stephanie at Wildcoast after speaking with the Director Serge Dedina......

Hi Jeff,

I am following up with you regarding the Dempsey Surf Contest this year. Serge mentioned that you have a group of people that want to sign up for a knee boarding division. I am going to create at item under our registration page online titled "knee boarding". It will be live and ready to open on our website by the end of the day.

Registration is on the homepage of our website www.wildcoast.net

Thanks,

Stephanie Batt

I think we will do a pre-surf down in IB this Sunday. Will the contest be at the Pier? North or south? Anybody else want to show up?
