Heat assignments are up on the Wildcoast website. Looks like we have only one heat and final wrapped up together. I sent Serge Dedina a message and asked if that is correct. Waiting to hear from him on that.

Thanks to Serge Dedina and Wildcoast for the kneeboard heat! Poor surf overall but it was great fun on the beach meeting new friends and seeing old ones, and seeing the community come out to support the event

That was a lot of fun. Nice to meet Jeff and Alex, two of the most stoked kneeboarders I've ever met. Thanks for making this happen Jeff.

You guys all made history yesterday with it being the 1st ever Kneeboarding event ever held in Imperial Beach's history and the 1st ever Kneeboarding division in the 9 years of the Dempsey. It was a pleasure to meet all you guys and blast to surf with ya!! To bad the conditions weren't better surf wise but it was just a super stoke filled day.
I look forward to surfing with you all again. Hopefully we can get a few more for next years Dempsey, would love to see the kneelo division grow and grow. Again super stoked to have you all come down and participate in this historic event!!!!!!!

THAT was why I did so poorly! lol!
Results aside, I had a great day, really enjoyed meeting fellow contestants, looking forward to seeing y'all out in the water!!
Would appreciate any of the Blacks Beach crew getting in touch - I'd like to know where to park to surf there - I want waves like in my avatar.
And what a small KB world this is.. found out the Blast F2K I just bought onj craiglsist earler belonged to Brad Colwell (owners ago)!
