Have to say what a great contest.
The surf on Saturday was challenging but you wouldn`t think so by the way everyone was surfing.
Pretty spectacular location, very laid back atmosphere and the amount of beaches nearby is mind boggling.
Great to see pleanty of families there, people from different states as well as the Venezuelans who seemed to never stop smiling.
The Wakas always do a good job but with the help of Surfing NSW it has become a professionally run event.
Food and hospitality at the Gerringong club deserves a mention too-didn`t try any of the alcohol but pleanty of others were enjoying it.
