So it starts tomorrow ... 16th March ... no.

Very quiet over at KSA ... no update since the 8th of January.

Looks like the lads would be getting hammered on the Island (check the link). Just about time for a low tide session at Woolami - not! Womble, either my wireless has blown another valve or KSA is off the air. Would be good to see more updates on their site.
Good question: how do kneeboarders in Aus correspond these days?
Searching Google with: Phillip+Island+kneeboard yields nothing earlier than 2009. What's the story?

Surfies Point for Day 1
We got through the early heats very well.
Good conditions until early arvo
and then a very rushed pack up as the WIND arrived with Gusto
a Heat still out in the water as the judges tent was dis-assembled

Dark here now in Cowes at the Caravan Park
and the wind is blasting with occasional downpour.

Someone suggested to me that you guys might get a kick out of this one ...

Image

guess who ??

... even if you are a champ, things don't always go smoothly.

To sit on the beach and watch the final 12 put their skills on show was spectacular and very enjoyable.
It was a great weekend.

Big thanks to Big Jim, Rosey, and the Crew for another great year!
I've got two very stoked Kneelo Grommets at home who returned with a trophy each and a bag full of goodies - what more could a Grom want?
Dad just got a whole lot of grief from said Groms for not winning anything...again...
Can't wait for the big 30th next year. See you all there!
...but I like to be different...

Not to worry. We have a bit of footage, should have it up on our site in a few days.

Thanks
Albert
