September 28, 29th in Imperial Beach.

Thanks to Jeff Wallis, last year Wildcoast added kneeboarding for the first time to this cool contest. Make plans to attend! Maybe the Cove crew can carpool with Big Fred this year.

We'll have to ask Jeff to find out which day the kneeboard heats will be held.

Here's the link to the entry form:

Sign ups are still open through tomorrow. I talked with Zach P. at Wildcoast today and he said they still have room. Looks like there are 9 peeps that have signed up so far. If we can get a few more there will most likely be more than one heat like last year.

Look forward to seeing you guys and surfing with you all. The surf looks like it should be pretty good. The conditions were sunny with offshore this morning and some head high stuff.

The Pros surf tomorrow and I will be busy shooting the event. I will have me cell with me if I can be of any help. 619-253-7099 also we will have a (brown EZup) setup on Sunday morning to the north of Elm St. same place as last year.

Just look for the rest of the half men and you will be in the right place.

Cheers,

Jeff

Outstanding Brad, two years in a row! First and second must have been close.
There are a couple of noteworthy items:
The semi-final heats were both won by the youngsters and these same young kneeboarders finished in the top three.
