The date is set. The 2014 KSUSA Kneeboard Surfing Titles is scheduled for Friday April 18 and Saturday April 19 at Huntington Pier. The registration forms are being finalized and will be posted shortly. I encourage everyone to sign up early for this event.

Once again, the Frog House returns as the official contest surf shop sponsor.
Sandy's will again host the evening venue and sponsor the Sandy's cup team challenge.

The generosity of our sponsors helps to make this event possible. The following kneeboard shapers have confirmed that they will continue to support this event.

Blast - Bud McCray
Flashpoint - Bruce Hart
Freeline - John Mel
Parkes - David Parkes

Stay tuned for more details.

joe wrote:No. None of the divisions are full. Have you run into a problem with the registration process?
Oddly, it said the open division was already full on the event page.

Here is the quote from the entry page:

"The Open division will be limited to 64 entries and is now full. Please enter contact ksusa.webmaster@gmail.com. to be placed on the alternates waiting list.

Fees
Junior $40 :: Women $40 :: Open (FULL) $125 [includes T-Shirt]"

Unless I am reading that incorrectly, FUll means...well, full.

My mistake. That note was left over from last year's contest. Good catch. I've removed that note from the registration page.

Registration is now open with 60 spots left in the Open division.

Please check the contest information page for contest entries. If you register online your name should show up on the list within 24 hours. If you register via the mail in form, allow up to a week for processing. If you have registered and your name is not on the list let me know via PM.

If you experience any problems with online registration try again later. If the problem still occurs send me a PM with a description of the problem.

What to do on a rainy day

The surf is crap and the super storm of the season is roaring across California. So, what are you going to do today? Unless you're patching the roof or filling sand bags, it sounds like the perfect time to click the link below and register for the 2014 US Kneeboard Titles. The contest is only seven weeks away. Don't wait, sign up now.

Mail-in registration closes in four weeks, on-line registration closes in six week, or when the contest fills. The contest fills up every year with last minute entries. If you wait you may miss out.
