USSF Oceanside June 26th...

Anyone interested in attending the USSF US Surfing Championships comp in Oceanside PLEASE REPLY TO THIS TOPIC!
I'd like to get a head count for Paul West. He's proposing running the kneeboard division from start to finish Saturday from 10 -2... good time slot and a short window to free up your day.
Preliminary Details:
- Entry fee $60
4 man heats 15 or 20 min
Eliminations depending on # of entrants
Trophies (they've always been good ones!)
T-shirt
Jack is in Tahiti 
Hoping to get at least 12-24 entrants! Could be a good one!

good luck with this contest, Thats the day I get to tahiti, as opposed to people like Ed who opted to run away from the opportunity to provide me with some more kneeboarding lessons.

No need to join the USSF... Paul West and company have extended to us a kneeboard division for the 3rd straight year in hopes that we grow our organizaton to a level that can participate as an affiliate of the USSF (at some future date....)
Quite a bit of wiggle room thanks to Paul. There is no committment for us to join as an org... just if it makes sense at some point in the future.

60-40 says I can make it down there for the day provided its all done on Saturday.
I'll try to confirm later this week. Great idea. Last time I surfed Oceanside my long board got snapped!

I'd like to, after jalama I think I like contests (it only took 32 years), but alas I will be with kids and wife for three weeks in Kaui. Try to feel bad for me, but I'll buck up and take it like a man.
