Dorje,
The Womens and Cadets are being contested over 3 Finals heats.
Last time I looked, Darcy had one her first heat and Matt Novakov his..but I'm going to the Site now to see if they've surfed again.
One more from each of them will probably clinch it.
How good is the pic of Darcy's cutback?..heaps of water between the foam and the initial stages of her turn.
They look like great lefthanders.

Congradulations to each of those men for getting so far..only time now, will tell.

Steen - I'm not sure that Darcy got 3rd. The low score (on a cumulative basis) is the winner. Scores and positions seem out of whack. eg: see Cadets - they seem right
Anyone out there spoken to Tahiti lately??

Steeno's on it.
All broken english (sms and phone)...but
Kathy Prior OZ won the Womens (overall). Opens as above..Parkes took the Masters over Red (with an interference somewhere in the heat)..and Matt Novakov took the grommets.
Don't know anything else.
But to the surfer who's name is on this thread..I'd say good on you. I'm sure you found the tropical paradise you spoke of.
Good on ya Darcy..

Dearest Darcy
for a day or so in my mind you were world champ - sorry - but i did look at the uk web site twice before i lept in - yet since life is but a dream - and we should treat the imposters of victory and defeat the same - im sure your not worried and i just tried - yet again - you can understand now why we like beating the english at cricket - and rugby next time

No matter what place she ended up in during The Worlds,
everyone here in the USA knows that Darcy is Number One in our hearts.
