Jon - good effort! Get those NoCals off their butts!
Otherwise, we can save ourselve the trip and start giving the trophy out at the Huntington/Newport gathering instead!

Hey Jon
got your pm and returned mine twice from work as the first was not showing up in the sent box, although the screen message read "had been sent"
got home checked messages sent and still not there - so sorry
anyway - was kicking back in class when your blues inspired pm arrived as the kids wound down on a friday afternoon - my head has been firmly focussed on surfing this weekend as the wind is swinging off shore after a number of poor weekends in a row - there should be some swell - anywhere from 2 to 5 over the next few days
always uplifting to get a ksusa message from the other side of this world whilst at work - cool
cheers

It use to be Sewer Peak we dominated with at least four and more like six. but those days are gone and I don't know of any specific spot that draws the crew together like the past. We do get these informal gatherings now when someone like Bob or Don or Scott calls out. Maybe some one else can help on your Q Beeline.

Beeline - As Jon noted, usually there is just one KBer in the lineup. Here are the spots you're likely to find KBers (North to South):
+ North coast reefs such as Waddel or Scotts
+ The Lane
+ The Harbor
+ Sewer Peak
+ Manresa/Place
+ Moss Landing (depending on who you ask, Moss falls into the Santa Cruz catagory; growing up in Watsonville, it was just about the closest, consistent break for me).
But its all dependent on swell direction and size.......as with every other break in the world.
