When a bar of wax will last you a month, but your stand-up buddies go through one a week!

I married a standup so I could be hassled all the time - thus keeping my edge.

When you surf a standup board for the fist time and months and sit and think of all the late drops, all of the sections you did not make, how much faster i could be going, instead of just enjoying myself today.

Twenty years ago I met my future wife on a club ride while training for bicycle racing. Later she found out I was a kneeboarder and informed me that her previous boyfriend of eight years was also a kneeboarder. What are the odds, or does she just have an odd choice in men?
