boards and fins, I was just b.s.ing. I don't even surf. I work with a guy who used to surf. He says there are no rideable waves in Oregon
None rich, none poor. Everyone happy.

That was here mr.K,

The month on kauai was great.Pretty much hung out on the west side.Back to back south swells...Never got under shoulder high. With a few days breaking way up the point.
Met a lot of old santa cruzers hadn't seen in 30 yrs

Had no major problems as I was as dark as anyone :lol:and pretty much the oldest surfer in the water.Got worked a few times, not stuffed though..left me enough room to dance, till they figured out I knew my way around.Lots of interest in my flashpoint,as there are quite a few backyard shapers in the area.
Had some friends from the village[kapalas]that remembered me from the march trip...so they took me under their wing.
Got plenty of waves Surfed 23 days out of the month :D

Surfed with kauaiboy[matt]on a small day,and we watched him get a nice little tube 8) covered ...Never saw him again????

So....I figure 1/3 of the locals loved me....1/3 hated me...and 1/3 could care less

May go back in oct.nov.Got a board stored there, one less cost[80$]

cheers!

Just like a longboard MIK911, it's all in your ability and equipment. Every spot is different but find that you can work your way into primetime pretty quickly with the locals after showing them a little respect, keeping your mouth shut, and pulling off some good waves.
