OB is coming into its good season now. Work has been busy so I have been forced to watch only on the cam. For all you cam haters out there, know that they can inflict suffering and loss of work productivity, as some consolation.

''bitchin''up here.hard OS straight off the land,Which brings the real warm inland air.Waist to shoulder, combined NW-SW swells, pushly little wedges.
Handfull of locals,rights&lefts.
In town no less  The swarming masses are ready to invade this weekend  with the swell increase.
Hopefully the wind will shift, and we can surf the reefs.Strange weather...OS here, mile up the coast it's screaming NW...

Doc s went to ''slammin''[salmon] creek today, got skunked...His juju is at work again ....

14,2 at 9 under a small south,not much energy,and a real high angle,should be a few good peaks.Got a light OS.Reefs could be good.
Doc s. is coming down....Better leave his juju home.....

Friday afternoon, classic fall OB, head high and barreling. Crowd was on it since the season is just starting and it was a beautiful friday afternoon. North end was working much better then the south or middle. The sand bars in middle beach don't seem to have the right shape now. I think the outside sand bar is too large and causing a inside outside break even in moderate swells. The outside bar is also adding a warble funkiness factor. Maybe a good long period northwest will solve that.

Weather looks good for the next few days so course I have an out of town business trip scheduled

Friday the beaches were firing with multiple wave sets. My son was on it and said it was glassy all afternoon with nonstop waves.

Wind is up a bit today (Saturday) but we'll see.....
