You guys are too much. I laughed so hard I had an accident  . No shortage of ribald humor, that's for sure. Thanks for the invitations, insults and suggestions...it's all good and we certainly need more humor in this too-serious world.
O-side sounds nice, but I think I'll practice at the home break here for a bit before I motor up north. Gene, I will drop you a PM and maybe we can have a session soon at OB or Mission. I'll buy you a breakfast burrito or a beer when all is said and done if you like.

Good waves to all  ,

I surf a 5'10" keel-finned metal flake purple fish and 5'10" fins-forward tri.
Hey squid - does the purple metal-flake fish have chrome hubcaps? Sounds like my lowrider!

If I cared what other people thought I wouldn't ride a kneeboard. Kinda fun to wave that freak flag. Sorry, no hubcaps though. Old school Cragars.

Very true - unfortunately I'm a young buck and I SO care about what other people think, so I split my time between kneeboarding and surfing.

Hey JackSquid, you're right in the neighborhood to roll out with SlicedFeet and myself. You can spot me out at Hermos/PB point (Slice and I live right above there) and there is an older kneeboarder who I see frequent the inside of the point. Depending on my mood, I'll be on a 6'2" bright red Blast tri (or a 7'0 black beauty - my only two boards!) and Slicedfeet will be riding his blue tinted Blast Quad. Sliced has some hippie hair to go with his deli-belly and I'm 6'4" but recently cut all my locks off so I look like a marine trying to pass as a civi. Suffice to say we stand out of the crowd there. If you'd like to come up for a session we're always down to hang with another kneelo. Our locations towards the LJ reefs has some fun fun kneeboard waves.

Its funny, I got into with a 'local' at hermos last April when he burned me because I was kneeboarding. I saw him at the start of fall when I was riding a standup and he was all smiles and how-ya-doin's. I told him about our run-in and he was pretty good natured about it. Still, some of those older guys do have an attitude problem about kneelos, so its nice to have a few of us out there (just ask SlicedFeet - he REALLY got into it out there)

Anyway, if you want to meet up for a session I'd be game to roll down into Mission beach for some beachbreak fun - my kneeboard is perfect for those waves. Just let me know (without any type of job, I have loooooots of surfing time on my hands, seriously)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
