I loved looking at those photos of phil at mavricks and paddleboarding and reading about his acomplishments thoughout his life. the guy is obviously a charger at whatever he does!

I will never forget sitting at Jon Manss house asking Phil how big Mavericks was the day he broke a rib there. He said he didn't know, I asked him if it was as big a nearby tree that was over three stories high, he just looked at the tree with some thinking gestures on his face. I didn't need an answer

There's a few obscure things we share, but one thing is, he is an inspiration. Walk groundly, speak soundly, (I'd say drink roundly...) etc. etc. Yes, a true waterman. I really enjoyed seeing more. He is an awesome spirit!
