My DVD from George Blair arrived in the mail a couple of days ago so when I caught a moment this morning it went right into the DVD player for a look-see. No disappointment on this end... as a matter of fact the Inside & Out DVD exceeded my expectations. Loved watching so many different styles of wave riding.

I was hoping to see some description of the riders' board designs and characteristics. Although most boards appeared to be 3-fin pintails, a few of the boards appeared to be made of lightweight epoxy and some appeared to have very wide tails (Bill Lerner's boards?).

Thanks again!

Rod
Bill and myself both rode quads all the others were on 3 fins
also I think that my boards were the only epoxy ones on the boat.

there are only 4 left in socal at this time, so get your order in.

also Jon Mel still has some copies available at Freeline in Santa Cruz 8)

Glad that everyone is enjoying the dvd

Hi Andy,
Mate its not through lack of trying from my end to get them over to you guys in RSA.
I will try again
Stoked your walking into his shop & asking for "Inside & Out" Andy. The more interest he gets the better chance for them to arrive in greater numbers
Ive had other people interested who are spread up & down the east coast.

Thanks for the info Andy

Loved the video Simon!
Great surfing guys!

"Different perspective" section song is "burn you," and there is a guy behind Simon, I hope it was a Brazilian, loved it!

The perspective of board mounted camera is amazing, cool to see Simon's facial expressions.
Of course Simon is no Paris Hilton, but cool nontheless.

Pretty scary inside the tube footage with the boils popping up ahead.

I can relate to Gavin standing on the reef at E-BAY, I did that at Lances Left, three feet of whitewater heading toward me, it sucked!

Freakin hillarious Simon and Gavin 16 years earlier

Video makes a great Christmas gift too

Thanks for your perspective Mike
I enjoyed reading it.
I could not imagine the shots you would have got if "Paris" had of been on the board cam instead of me
The fella that copped the drop in deserved every ounce of it. Only 5 of us out & mellow as could be. He & his mate were talking themselves up about being "Bra Boys" & just being pain in the "you know what"
He actually was on my outside when i was paddling for this wave then at the last moment tried to sneak behind me to snake me  silly move.
I wont say what i said when i took off or what was said after the wave when i paddled out but things were sorted out
I still cringe when i see that footage of Gav & I

Brad,
Thanks for your kind words. It really is a huge project to put together from start to finish & only be given 12 days to film. Im happy with it :)

ps. a big thanks to Geo for his help on this project also

Thanx, George. Glad you're keeping the US connection going.

Maybe its time for a US videographer to step up and produce a film featuring US KBers.

Mindless comment about the cost and borrowing a copy deleted.
