Got my pair of new "Da Fin"s

Post by Bob »

For those of you looking for a pair of bigger fins that fit over a size 13 foot and booties, these do the trick.

I ordered size 15-16 (I wear size 13 shoe) and tried them on with a 3mil and 5mil bootie and they worked.

Soft, flexible foot pocket and strap. Plenty of room in length. Blade is in between really stiff and too soft. I wore them in the pool today and they seemed good. I have not surfed with them yet but so far so good.

They are a little pricey after shipping but for those of you with size 12 or bigger feet...they might be the answer.

dafin.com if interested.

okay...heres my 2 cents....i have the largest size da-fin....they're the most comfortable fin ive ever used....awsome power too...and their supa light.

they work amazing for bodyboarding, matsurfing and bodysurfing.....

i DONT recommend them for kneeboarding! :o ...they are really wide fins and dont allow vertical surfing...they drag off the rail too...even when i ride my wide board.....

they also cost me around 75 bucks....

Excuse my ignorance...what do your swimfins have to do with going vertical? I have a pair of those fins and really like them too.Interesting point though..rail turns might not matter ?? Maybe flat turns would?

drag from flipper over-hang is the main problem...the wide fins spread my feet in a way that feels un-natural too....

these are ONLY my observations... im not saying these are the facts..., different kneelos have different styles and different ways of initiating turns...

I got my fins Da Fins also, they are great enough to convince me to change my avatar from Churchill to Da Fins. I got two pairs shipped from Hawaii to Indonesia 3 weeks including clearance.

One is a size 13 my feet are 10.5 US size, will wear with booties.

Good stuff, recommended, and ordered on the internet.
