G'day to all this is my first post I live in Bargara Queensland which is just on the coast from bundaberg' i moved here from new south wales central coast for the warmer weather' in 7 years i have only seen 1 other kneeboarder must have been passing thru' I surf mostly in summer here
1.5 hours north to agnes waters, locally at bargara, or 3.5 hours to the sunshine coast, can anyone tell me about the kneeboard club down there,
I have been surfing kneeboards since the late 70s am looking forward to some interaction with like minded surfers, I have my old emerald 5'5" slab i use for the flat sort of waves we get mostly here, and my fairly new parkes 5'7" rounded squire tail I use when I head south, looking forward to any one from the sunshine coast kneeboard club thanks chris
ps am I the northern most kneeboard surfer on the east coast of austrlia ?
am i australia's east coast most nothern kneelo ?

bdwqld ... Byron summed it up
if you have time this weekend
I know 3.5 hours will seem over the top
but it does look like we will get some swell ... hope the wind falls in our favour
I'm sure they will be enough of us there
with enough boards and fins and Talk to keep you busy
these guys are worth meeting and greeting

Hi Chris,
The October meet will be Sunday 5th October at Buderim St Dickys Beach.
Pity you can't make it this Sunday as it looks as though we will finally have some swell.
Cheers,
Byron

On that geographical thang.
you may well be the northern most..
my other shack is at the bottom of bruny Island and there are times when I know I am the southernmost kneelo for sure, southern most surfer, well that depends on who else is in the water at that time, in Oz
The byron boys get the eastern most unless there's a resident kneelo in the water at Lord Howe
Don't know enough about the west to comment

Hello folks and greetings from Gympie.
Used to spend some time around Bundy a few years back but wasn`t surfing those days.
Beautiful part of the world and love to get back up there to surf.
Hard to go past Noosa when it`s working though.
May be waves the next few days.
Hey Byron, won`t be in the water for at least a week but may come down on Sunday with the camera if you wish to borrow it for the day.
sore throat.
