Lakes Enterance Kneelos?

Good Day to the Viccos

I am based at Bega on the NSW far south coast. Early Jan we are taking the kids down to Lakes Enterance (along with four other families). Are there any kneelos on that part of the coast? I am assuming the place will be packed at that time of year, but you get that. The other families are not surfers so I would like to get down Philip Island for a day or two if I get a chance.

BUT
if you do make it to Philip Island there is every chance that you can connect with other Kneelos

check out the gatherings thread, where there is an attempt to get a regular, once a month gathering of willing kneelos

If any of you guys head north let us know. I have only met one other local kneelo and one guy that comes down from the snowy sometimes, but I am told there are five kneelos on this part of the coast.

Same situation as Kev..... not from the Lakes Entrance area but if you can get down the Island or Peninsular give us a contact on the "Gatherings" section "Vicco Kneelos Kitty Session" forum and we'll see about linking up for a session or two. Good to link up with other South Eastern Aus Kneelo's.

We used to have a pro kneelo comp at Merimbula, I am sure there is more than 5 kneelos than that way

I know there are few more just up the coast, the board I picked up when I started back was from Arthur Marshall, making boards at Dalmeny. I would not be surprised if there were a few more of us about. All good stuff - Phil

There is at least one in Lakes that I met at Coopers Cup a couple of years back. Can't recall his name (no surprise to those whoknow me).

For waves I've had most success at Red Bluff at Lake Tyers and a couple at Cape Conran (south side). Too chicken to surf the entrance itself.
