Surflie SoCal swell forecast has already been downgraded from 5'-8' to 4'-6'

By the time it actually gets to SC it will be 2'-4'

For NorCal it will be 1'-2' if we're lucky...

:lol: Be positive!That last south was a surprise after they gave a conservative forcast.Came out of retirement... :lol: Work mon to wed. .Working on a new flashie,and the work truck needs brakes.Hope this high pressure goes away,too much wind!The north reefs are farked up.Maybe it'll get fog bound and glassy.. 8) doubtful.Means surfing downtown with the masses.Got one of those big whistles around my neck.What's that whistle for??If you hear it? your in front of me,so get the fark off my wave!.. all five of you....:lol:

Sheesh, last weekend's forecast for south swell was ankle to knee high.

Sets were coming through Sat. morning with the tide pushing up
that were shoulder to head high - 5'/6' on the face at spots up north.

Spent the last 4 days surfing SoCal. KB'ed the Venice breakwater 2' to maybe 3' but three days were body surfing between Venice and Santa Monica. The amazing thing is that the water is so warm. 2-3 go outs each day- only reason I had to leave the water was due to being exhausted.

Was invited to a Roxy movie premier on Friday night at a Venice nightclub with a bottomless open bar. Filled with tons of gorgeous women................all the same age as my daughters, though. lol

Looks like there's gonna be some good surf this weekend. Contemplating staying in SLO and try and get some somewhat crowded south facing reef breaks or heading home to get some warm water barrels at Blacks in a shoulder to shoulder line up? hmmm

Swell jumped,about 2-3.Tomorrow ''will'' be bigger.Wind is on the north reefs...not good.-0.9 tide early.town Crowd will show up around ten.My trusty whisle is at the ready!... :lol:

Classic norcal morning.Foggy,drizzly,no waves...yet.Won't start breaking till around 10.Sounds like your timing will be about right.Swell's still only reading 2 at 17 not enough!Should build all day.4-6 at 17 would be just fine.We'll see what transpires.

I drove by Manresa a bit ago (8:00) and it was still dinky.

The Lane cam dosn't show much and even the SoCal cams
are looking pretty small still.
