Finally got some decent waves since EQ and I were in NYC  High tide mackers, and low tide semi mush, surfed 4 hours, 10 guys out. Getting chilly over here

surfed the Head in Nor Cal today waves were about 6 to 8 on the face tide was high so waves had a little bounce so you had to pick and choose for the good ones but when you hooked in to a good one it was on

Four days in a row of good surf at the local, never got that last year all winter. Classic SoCal fall weather - mid 70's, sun, no wind. I'm sure there were better places to surf to the south and north, but hard to beat a walk down the street to glassy head high sets. Plenty of waves so good vibes in the line up. Got caught up with all the neighbors. MasonS even stopped by on his way down to Rincon on Friday.

just caught up on this thread, mac was down all week....

the night before that BIG EPIC HB day.....Downright the scariest night sesh ive ever had...talk about no crowds..lol

looked perfect from the beach...my friends and i were running from south side to north side watching perfect back to back spitting OH barrels and the swells growing, tidal push from nil....

paddling out through the channel on NS the first big one looms .. duckdive... sends one friend to the beach...

my only friend paddles WAY outside into the dark and into the open and i chill on the bowl... I watch him annihilated by a 3 wave set that huge and hollow...hes gone

then its my turn , im already way outside in the channel...Biggest Hb wave ive ever seen (big weds excluded) pitching out onto my head....hopeless, i ditch the board and swim....

by a miracle my leash held and i wasnt in the pilings.... caught one OH wave that i rode in to the beach... it barreled and spit...

...we burned one and surfed Seal SS bowl /13th all night til the sun came up :D

4-6' offshore slabs...first time its broke this year....

then i slept til a combo hit magnolia..

Rincon, solid 4-5ft. Got some great rides, definitely some chop with a south wind on it.

Good to see you George, was fun to have a couple kneeriders out although I was not at your standards this time. Next time with some size I'll bring my spoon

Super small around here today too.

We did get in the water though. Found this
really, really, nicely shaped little peak which
had a good little left and a long right breaking
off of it.

The right was only about 3' tall but peeled
off down the beach for about 50 yards!

Made the most of it and had fun.
