Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

North Shore Oahu surf has yet to go flat for more than a few days since last year August and it's nearly July. :D
Small NNW swell came up yesterday, just a day after last weeks North swell subsided.
A few clean little ones at select spots.
Another swell forecast next week. 8)

Water is already 72f here, and probably will have sea lice this year, should be in the 80's soon. But this place has waves like a bathtub.

Sea surface temps are at historic highs in the Atlantic, just waiting for the tropical wave train off the Sahara to start up in about a month. Should be a good year for waves and a scary year for property owners.

Scott,

Hit up that beach you've been talking about lately.

SFOB was socked in and junky with negative tide.

That was the only stretch I saw in the AM, and was mostly sunny, glassy and pretty darn fun for the stretch.

Bet there are some fun venues South.

Maybe tomorrow, but looks like a tussle betwen winds coming back and work...

After that, same old, same old around here

Thanks for the tip, Bob, but I'm stuck here in Delaware for work-related conference for the week. I'll return on July 4th, hopefully catch some of that new swell on the 5th.

I'm also within two hours of Mike Fernandez, though. But just staying this close to him is making me lazier and lazier with every passing day, wanting to quit my job, go live off the aussies for awhile, think about Paris...

Hey, there's no sales tax in Delaware! No surf, either...

Hey Scott,
We could have told you there was no surf before you came all the way over

I'll be in Newark DE (@ University of DE) Friday, maybe we could get a beer after work if you're still around.

Cheers,
Doug
