Been 30 years since I got pix of me in the water. My fiancee is learning the tricks of the camera and for her first shoot I think she did well!

looks great, Jeff...just the way I remember it. Should be a good Fall season down there. I bet the water got cold pretty quick?

Today was fun surfin the inside shorebreak. It was pretty gnarly at times and I paid my dues as well! Here are a couple pix from this mornings session. There was a terrible haze so these photos are not really clear but you will get the feel for what was happening. Headed back out in the morning and gonna try it again. Hopin for sunny skies as well.

Jeff, I used to kneeboard Boca Rio, Sloughs, and all over IB from '89-'96, when I owned a house a couple of blocks from the water. I eventually sold it to move back to La Jolla. I may have surfed with you :?: Real fun place!

Its been on and off down here lately with some good and not so good days. Water has been really warm with a ton of kelp in the water. Cold water all summer and now that October is here it gets warm WTF? Anyhow I went out a few times and the fiancee caught this lil sequence with the 50D and I made a lil animated gif.

Tok a good shot to the head a couple days later when I was using my GoPro, thank god for helmets! Ended up with a huge pressure dent in the deck and torn the glass along the stringer for about 6 inches. Suffrered a concussion according to ER doc. Been having headaches and lil pukie in the stomach. He advised four weeks outta the water but that aint gonna happen. Shootin pix at the local annual Dempsey Holder Surf Contest tomorrow and then I am back in the water monday. Hope everyome is getting some waves. Take care my Kneelo Bros!
