I saw that Crox, unfortunately I would have to drive at least 500 miles to find offshore winds. Blown out on the other side of the pond. :(

The chart shows that it will be offshore over most of Cornwall tomorrow.....should be interesting!

500 miles.....just a tad far

The swell was big enough to make this new big wave spot off Ireland break -

I'm surprised Tom Lowe, Fergal Smith, or Mickey Smith weren't the ones charging it. I have been there. Sea foam blowing up the 600 ft. cliffs. Didn't notice a surfable wave when I was there. On my side of the pond it looks like the wind might be turning and I might get a last hurrah with 3-4 days of overhead surfing at Rockaway Beach near NYC. 8)

Unreal wave and guys with insulated brass balls.

BUT.... (here it comes) "N. Ireland is the new big wave capital of the world not Hawaii"........?? Once every five years it breaks?
We get waves like that every year for a five month period. There are places here off Kauai that you will never see or hear about that rival those monsters every year.

BUT......(what there's more?) Let me say it again THOSE GUYS CHARGE and that is smokin wave in the most harsh conditions. That takes some anti-freeze in your blood.

BUT.....we got that in spades with warm water and almost naked babes on the beach! It takes more than a once in a while thing to be the big wave capital of the world.

i'm just sayin'............
