Save the Froghouse - Public Hearing Tonight @ 7pm

Public Hearing tonight for the FROGHOUSE zoning issue.

The Newport Beach City Council will be holding a PUBLIC HEARING at 7pm at 3300 Newport Blvd.
Hopefully, the council will leave the Froghouse as is, since it's existed as residential and commercial for the last 42 years.

This is a public hearing, which means we are all welcome to attend (though be prepared for standing room only).

TK, Mikey and the gang have all been beyond supportive of kneeboarding... I'm sure they'd love to see you there!

Joe and I just left the hearing, along with tons of other supporters.
The inside council chamber was packed, as was the outter room and stairs out front.

The council voted unanimously to rezone in favor of keeping the FROGHOUSE both residential and commercial.



Next time you're in town, drop by and say hi to TK and the guys, cause they'll still be there.

Wow a victory...I work for a City...from the newspaper reports etc it looked like the vote would go south, especially with Newport's bugdet problems. But you guys prevailed, good for all. Just keep vigilant for any conditions placed on the property. Some cities will chip away at things rather than frontal attack as in this case. Good for the Council for hearing the folks!

The FrogHouse is a true surf shop!

The guys are stoked on surfing,kneeboarding, wave riding in general.

They will always work with you on product ideas and price.

Danny and I shared some sweet peaky glass off waves with the boys at Newport last week. I think they locked the shop up a tad early, scampered across PCH and hit it!
