Just Thinking KSUSA Titles 2012

Post by stevea »

I,ve never been to California ,all my friends who have say i should go .So what better time than the 2012 Festival ,i dont know i need advice and maybe a little motivation .
Its hard to leave Indo but January is full on wet season and water time is minimal , it would be great to maybe explore some other options while there ie Baja: is a bucket list contender along with Huntington Pier and the whole sthrn California coast ,but how long is long enough and what should i allow for daily to weekly expenses without blowing the allowance
Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated
Time to confess to an ulterior motive yes i want to capture all and sundry kneelos on hd video in waves having fun and exploding some myths, lips and conventions

Stoked for your post Steve! If you're still on the fence everyone overhere will be trying to push you into coming 8) There's so much to see surfwise here and if you throw in SD and Baja then you'll for sure have a worthwhile time. Also, the 2012 Titles alone would make the trip worthwhile 8)

Great Steve, can't wait to see you here. For sure the Cove Crew will feed you good but if you want a real taco you'll have to come to SD :P 8)

Yeah, OC (well South OC anyway) is hurting for good Mexi-chow.

Have you guys been on a drive through west side Costa Mesa? It's like driving from Mexico to Santiago Chile...with all the foods in between. We definitely are not huring for great Mexi-chow...

Joe;
I knew someone would throw down the gauntlet. So one side of one town may be the exception to the rule. And I am sure that Santa Ana must have some good food (are they north or south OC?).
Of course my opinion is just that, mine. You know I worked in the newer and over yuppified areas of south OC for ten years (Lake Forest/Foothill Ranch) and not only was there a dearth of good Mexi-chow but you could not even find a quality mom and pop breakfast joint without going back to the coast.

Yeah, we rarely cross the 405 to the yuppie land...oh yeah, you're right... this is North OC, we do have good mexi chow, just like you guys. :lol:
