oakley rep
after ripping the fins out off my channell bottom i was picking it up from al byrnes when he told me off a sydney kneelo who blew his mind at G land in the eighties. riding deep in the barrell and huge carving turns. i rattled off all the names i could think off but none off those rung a bell but all he could recall was he was a oakley rep or similar. an i,d would be great because the stories of this bloke sounded awesome. any ideas ??????

Even I heard of Ken Horton in the 70's.

I would say Ken Horton, he was as an extra gifted junior surfer in the 70s and i can imagine him blowing minds at Gland and he was from Sydney s northern beaches (Mona Vale)
Kevin Barr was a great surfer from Queensland which can never qualify him as from Sydney ,cant think of any other contenders
