Congratulations Doc and welcome to your sixth decade.

Well guys, 53 yrs as of today with 40 of 'em spent on a kneeboard. That's a lot of kneeboarding  Was hoping to celebrate in the water, but...who's complaining???
Do I have any advice for others? Simply this- Do the best you can to try and stay in shape, surf with guys younger than you & who aren't afraid to charge, and most importantly, get out there and TRAVEL, TRAVEL, TRAVEL!!!

Good surfing to you,
Kenny

Happy Birthday Kenny !
Kneeboarding since 1976; always searching for the ultimate sled, always in awe and grateful for the work of master craftsmen, Romanosky, Frye, Cleary, Mc Cray, Timpone, Ballestar, Minami, Hart.

Kenny! Too cool :D
I'm also 53 today and have spent 40 years on a kneeboard :!: 8)
But boy, am I young at heart
That's good advice, in general, but I just surf and travel with Bob Gove and accomplish the same thing :D

Kenny and Brad, what a coincidence, I enjoy the heck out of surfing with both of you, I hope you keep charging well into your 60's and beyond. Kenny I'm guessing I'm the younger one in your post , hopefully I can find someone younger than me, so Idon't have to keep surfing with you old farts out there. :?
Sea Bass you going to KB Wedge with me this year  I promise it will be fun
kenny and Brad happy B-days and many barrels to come

Happy birthday to you both, Kenny & Brad.
1957 was a very good year, without doubt.
Spot on with the words of wisdom too, Kenny.
Life, like any wave, is a game of constant adaptation to an ever-changing environment.
A good attitude is the only thing you need.

Brad,

Didn't know you were 53, you look much younger 8)
You do realise Mr. Gove is going to be 60 this summer
The boys should hook him up with a walker with skateboard wheels

Happy B-day, Brad!

Thanks for the good wishes, guys. Went out to celebrate with the missus last night...nothing better than fat tuna rolls and tall Kirins  And happy belated birthday to you also, Brad. (By the way, you don't happen to have a small, banjo shaped mole on your left??...ohhh, never mind.)
Do you think there's any truth to the theory that if you, me, and Bob surfed together we would slow down the earth's rotation??? :D
