Guys,

Sorry I missed you. I was out about 7:30 on Saturday, and was the only one out. Surf was weak; my friends showed up about 9 and it picked up a bit, but was still somewhat choppy. When I was done, I saw one kneelo getting in the water about 11:30 on a light blue twin keel fish.

Sunday was better -- chest high peaks and walls, and very glassy, but blown out by noon.

We'll have to try again

Back in Carlsbad camping this weekend again. I'll be in the water Saturday afternoon-evening (wind permitting), and Sunday dawn patrol.

Scott, how did you get the sites? Man that place is booked all through next summer!

I'm there for two nights soon, the 27th and 28th, my first time camping there. Looking forward to it!
