No he doesn't.CaptKneemo wrote:joel tudor says flippers are cool.
He is ideologically opposed to them. Joel celebrates NON-conformity.
99.99% of US Kneelos wear fins.
Hate to break it to you, but:
-If you wear fins, you are part of the mainstream-conservative-close minded- lazy- change fearing- establishment.
-If you leave your fins on the beach once in awhile, you are a fearless-open minded-innovative-Free thinking-enlightened-motivated- absolute individual... which, (correct me if I'm wrong) is what Kneeboarding is all about.
(Or, at least it use to be.)

Light 'em up Ed! Sometimes I join the flipperless few when I go through my periodic identity crisis surf sessions, standing and kneeboarding on my little fishes. I've noticed an interesting observation from a physiological perspective, this happened yesterday and up at OB last year, when I don't kick my feet I freeze! My body has adapted to using my leg muscle motion to keep the blood flowing and thus keeping me warm. If I just paddle with my arms I start getting cold after a couple hours. Yesterday I almost got hypothermic after a couple of hours and today with my flippers I surfed for well over 3 hrs,( it was going off by the way) with no problem, I was toasty except for my bloody calve cramping up which then ended my session.I know the paradoxical thing is that the flippers cause the calve cramps- if it ain't one thing it's another.

Re: cs
Ed, that much percentage accuracy would require 10,000 US Kneelos, but I think I get your point.eqKneelo wrote:99.99% of US Kneelos wear fins.
But, what does this say about the use of the effeminate "kneelo"? I prefer the much more manly "half-man".

"Tomorrow is a promise to no one."
God bless you.Jerry wrote:"You can put fins on some kneeboarders some of the time, but you can't put fins on all kneeboarders all of the time"I don't wear fins when I surf small beach-break waves because they make me feel, well.... kinda dorky
Randiego- KNEELO is masculine... now, KNEELA would really suck... and "halfman" has always sounded angry to me.

Like some little angry caveman.
